The Flippin Fire Department offers many services to the community. The services are also offered to surrounding communities through automatic and mutual aid agreements with surrounding fire departments.
- Fire Suppression - Fire Suppression includes fire extinguishment, search and rescue, property recovery, and damage control.
- Fire Prevention - Fire Prevention includes public education for fire safety and prevention, and fire code enforcement.
- Fire Investigation - Fire Investigation includes the investigation of all fires and explosion for cause and origin.
- Medical - Medical includes providing necessary medical and trauma care within the scope of training of the personnel responding.
- Rescue - Rescue includes Automobile Extrication, Water Rescue, and Ground Search.
- Other - This category of services can vary greatly. We are often called upon for simple tasks such as a person which has fallen and needs assistance getting up to power lines and trees blocking roadways, to assisting the police department with traffic control.
In most cases, if a citizen or the community needs assistance, we will find a way to provide that assistance, or find a resource which can provide the assistance needed.
